Keno Odds
Lottery games involve more luck than skill to win the coveted jackpot prize. This is true with most betting games found in Australia including the Lotto and Powerball. However, the game of Keno has a slight difference in strategy when it comes to winning prizes. Mathematicians around the world have calculated the ratio for winning this game and have computed the Keno odds. The rules of Keno are that players choose 3 to 10 numbers from a set of 80 and when their chosen numbers are selected after a draw, they will win the prize for that division.
The divisions for Keno are divided into seven. A minimum of 3 numbers can be chosen and players who opt for this bet are placed into the Spot 3 division. Players can also choose the highest amount of numbers which is 10. They will be placed in the Spot 10 division and have a chance to win the jackpot prize. Other divisions for different amounts in between 3 to 7 are also available. Keno is actually a variable type of game since the player controls how many numbers he or she chooses to play. The Keno odds therefore vary as the amount of selected numbers increase.
The ratio for getting 2 hits in a typical Keno draw has the lowest odds compared to the other hit count. Mathematicians argue that at least two numbers will most probably be selected from the 10 numbers chosen.
Matching all 10 personal numbers from a 20-number draw ranks the highest Keno odds. Also, a 0 hit from 10 personal numbers in a 20-number draw has a low probability of ever happening.
